Cymot donates N$5000 to CITW, Namibia, August 2015

Children in the Wilderness is very grateful to have CYMOT Namibia as a sponsor. On an annual basis, Children in the Wilderness receives items worth N$ 3000.00 from CYMOT and this year we were fortunate to receive an additional cash donation of N$5000.

CITW South Africa Trails camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa, August 2015

Once again we hosted two successful single-sex CITW camps on Pafuri Trails again. Eight girls and two female elders,eight boys and two male elders participated. The Makuleke Tribal Authority selected the elders.

CITW SA hosted the first ever overnight adventure camp at Gugulesizwe Cultural Centre, South Africa, June 2015

30 Vululwazi Primary School children from the nearby Kwampukane village enjoyed their first ever outdoor camping experience. They were joined by other novice campers - 5 Beach Camp staff and management members who are all CITW Eco-Mentors.

CITW Board meeting with input by Dr Sue Snyman, Namibia, May 2015

CITW recently held a board meeting that was attended by Dr Sue Snyman the regional coordinator of the programme from the head office in Johannesburg.
