June 2026 – Gudigwa, Beetsha, Gunotsoga and Seronga Primary School
On the 16th of June 2026, Kelly and Gaba from the Children in the Wilderness Botswana (CITW) team visited our partner schools in the eastern Okavango to assess the progress of their second term programme activities. They joined lesson observations and working with the Eco-Club members in their vegetable gardens. Kelly reports…
Following the May re-engagement visits, during which vegetable seeds were distributed to start gardening projects, it was encouraging to observe the significant progress made by the schools. These gardens are proving to be a valuable resource, benefitting not only Eco-Club members but the wider school community, as they are also used for practical learning activities.
CITW Botswana remains committed to fostering environmental awareness while supporting overall academic development. The programme aims to equip learners with essential life skills that will contribute positively to their future.
