Thanks to a generous donation of USD2 400 from Bisate guests, CITW Rwanda has been able to support the Brave Youth Forever Group, which operates in Bisate village.
The group comprises young volunteers who are active in the area.
The funds will be used to support a chicken project, which includes 200 chickens, all materials and food, rent for housing the chickens, as well as veterinary care.
Not only will the project benefit the 26 members of the youth group, but also 86 of the poorest families, who will receive free eggs every week.
Once the chickens start laying eggs, the micro-business will become self-sustaining.
