Semolale Primary School – Creating Ecobricks

Bamba Bagwasi, our Eco-Club Coordinator for Semolale Primary School in the Tuli area of Botswana, shared some wonderful pictures of the start of a new project which we’re getting started in our communities – the creation of ecobricks. The schools will collect plastic waste to fill empty plastic bottles, to make these bricks which will be used to build items around the school.

Even the welfare education at the clinic learnt how to make ecobricks

Mpho Mamalelala, a new Eco-Mentor in Semolale, demonstrated to the Deputy Chief how ecobricks are made.

Showing the Deputy Kgosi (chief) how to do it!

We look forward to seeing the end result – keep it up Semolale Primary School!
