The first week of Diacore and Children in the Wilderness Sports Days kicked off in the Okavango Region of Botswana last week. Just a few pictures from three of our schools in this Region – getting briefed and ready to run, and collecting litter.
“As children express more confidence in sports than in class, we know these sports days will have a positive impact; in addition, through these activities we are able to instil an essential environmental ethos, as well as other mental and physical benefits,” notes CITW Regional Programme Manager, Janet Wilkinson.
We’ll keep you updated this week as the Sports Days head to the Bobirwa Region in the Tuli area of Botswana!
