Some member off two of the CITW Adult Eco-Clubs recently met and spent some time together. Shashe Adult Eco-Club Chairperson and Vice Chairperson visited Habu Adult Eco-Club and 15 members from Habu Adult Eco-Club attended the meeting. The aim of the meeting was for the clubs to work together to improve their livelihoods and to form friendships.
It was very encouraging to see the Adult Eco-Club members sharing ideas and challenges and advising each other not to give up on their projects if they did meet challenges. They both acknowledged that it is not an easy walk but if they put their heart and soul into it they will accomplish their goals.
The Shashe Chairperson gave the background of how the clubs started and why they formed these clubs. They both agreed that they will teach each other skills. Shashe agreed to train the Habu women in beadwork while the Habu women will teach them patchwork.
