CITW Namibia hosts Miss International Namibia 2025

CITW Namibia recently had the honour of hosting Uatjiri Mbaisa, the 1st Runner-up in the Miss Namibia 2025 pageant, and Miss Public Choice 2025. Uatjiri also represented our country in the Miss International pageant in Thailand as Miss International Namibia 2025. She was accompanied by the media team from the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) of Namibia.

On arrival, the delightful and energetic staff at Wilderness Doro Nawas welcomed Miss International Namibia with singing and dancing. Uatjiri was truly impressed by their energy. The team then enjoyed a hearty dinner to prepare them for the next day.

The following day, Uatjiri and the team prepared for a full day at De Riet village. They visited the Children in the Wilderness Poultry Project and the De Riet Women’s Project. During their visit, Uatjiri observed the progress of the poultry project and marvelled at the various items made by the women’s project, including Wonderbags, hats, and other accessories.

This visit provided valuable insights into the important impact that the Children in the Wilderness Namibia projects have on the community.

Uatjiri also visited the local De Riet Primary School, and the craft centre, where she connected with the children and the community of this village.
