Uniform Distribution to Students in Victoria Falls and Tsholotsho, Zimbabwe

Thanks to a generous donation from Hunter Valley Grammar School in Australia, we were able to provide uniforms to 80 boys from rural primary schools.

Hunter Valley Grammar School undertakes a visit to Zimbabwe every second year. Comprising both teachers and students, the visitors spend a week at Jabulani Primary School, located 20 kilometres from Victoria Falls. Here, they help in various ways such as in the garden, the library, and teaching literacy to students.

When not in Zimbabwe helping at the school, Hunter Valley Grammar School continues to raise funds and gather donations for their upcoming trips. This year, they brought with them school uniforms and sports uniforms. Many students, particularly those in rural areas, cannot afford school uniforms, wearing various clothes to school. As many of the uniforms were smaller in size, we had enough to distribute to ECD, Grade 1, and Grade 2 boys who did not have the proper uniform.

We are hugely grateful to Hunter Valley Grammar School for their generosity and continued support and are looking forward to welcoming them back to Zimbabwe on their next trip.
