Our SAWC students report back on their activities at the college

Our SAWC students have been rather busy at the college. From first aid training, to mastering their marching drills, to learnings on conservation, it has been a full two months. Here are a few snippets from our students on what they’ve been up to:

Nozipho Mthembu

I learnt how the community benefits from conservation areas. I also learnt how to erect and maintain wildlife fences because it teaches us a lot about protecting the wildlife, and as a conservationist, it is my duty to protect wildlife.

Ntsemi Tlangelani

I’ve learnt more about how to perform conservation guardianship. How to orientate, navigate, use and create maps in conservation areas. I learnt how to demonstrate knowledge of nature conservation in terms of its role and function in society. How to demonstrate an understanding of factors that contribute towards healthy living.

Princeton Chauke

I have had good interactions with the college. We have been treated like we are coming from the same family.

*Note: No students were harmed during first aid training 🙂
