Otjiningua village is set in the remote Marienfluss Conservancy, along the Kunene River, Namibia’s northern border with Angola. It is roughly 325 km from Opuwo, the nearest town – and will soon finally have its own clinic!

Comprised of converted shipping containers, the clinic will be “handed over” to the Government (Ministry of Health and Social Services) upon completion.
Over seven donors offered resources for the installation of the clinic, namely CITW, Namport, Hochland Round Table 154, Kunene Governor’s Office, Bank Windhoek, Ride for Rhinos, Namport, Marienfluss Conservancy and the Ministry of Health and Social Services.
The clinic’s containers were safely transported to Opuwo from Walvis Bay, and should be making their way to the Marienfluss Conservancy soon.
