One of our Eco-Clubs in Bobirwa Botswana, is focusing on reducing, reusing and recycling materials, in order to combat the problem of waste around their school. The Eco-Club Teacher has reported that the school seems to have less waste as the Club members are encouraging other learners not to litter. They have reused milk cartons to make rubbish bins around their school.
The plan is that these projects will be on-going, with the hope of encouraging lifelong learning, respect and responsibility for their environment and actions. Ms Beauty Makala has helped the the Eco-Club to start a bead project which will help raise funds for the school.
