In an encouraging new development for students at Kapane Secondary School, a dormitory for girls has just been completed at the school. The dormitory will sleep up to sixteen girls and was sponsored by The Grand Circle Foundation and Children in the Wilderness (CITW).
Kapane Secondary School was established in 1984, and has an enrollment of 250 students. Some students were having to travel as many as fifteen kilometers per day to get to school. 45 students are accommodated at the school, but, until the dormitories were opened, there had been no boarding facilities.
