Food Distribution to Ebenezer Children’s Home, Zambia

CITW Zambezi would like to express our gratitude to the very generous donors and sponsors who have provided us with the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many over the last few months with food hamper distributions.

This, combined with the tireless effort of the Wilderness Safaris team members who have volunteered their time and energy to assist with the distributions in Zambia, makes the experience so much more heart-warming for all involved.

For the most recent distribution, we included the Ebenezer Children’s Home, located just outside of Livingstone, Zambia, on the list of those who would benefit from the feeding programme.

With strong ties to Ebenezer Primary School, CITW has established a good working relationship with the children’s home over the past few years, and it brings such joy to know just how much the delivery of food hampers means to them.

Smiles and giggles erupted as the truck pulled in and the food was offloaded, with cheers and laughter from the children and adults alike. With 46 young children, ranging from 18 months to 17 years old, as well as 13 helpers on site, there are many mouths to feed and tummies to fill. Thus, a donation of approximately 300 kg of food items goes a very long way.

Once again we would like to thank all those donors, sponsors, and hands-on helpers who make distributions such as this one possible. You are making such a tangible difference in the lives of so many during such a challenging time, and we are eternally grateful.
