The Nanthomba Eco-Cub cluster is made up of four Primary Schools. These schools join hands on a number of projects, one of which is reforestation. Between May and June,every year, the surrounding communities are asked by CITW Eco-Club members to register the number of trees they would like to plant in the next forestation cycle. With the help of their teachers, the Eco-Club members register the number of saplings required, and set to work getting these ready.
The Nanthomba Eco-Club proudly promises their surrounding communities that 20, 000 seedlings of different species comprising agro-forestry, fruit, timber and shade trees will be ready by January 2019. Those who had registered to receive tree seedlings this year, and have had their fields inspected, will be their first to get the seedlings.
