Children in the Wilderness is very grateful to have CYMOT Namibia as a sponsor. On an annual basis, Children in the Wilderness receives items worth N$ 3000.00 from CYMOT. This comes in quite handy as we always need materials and equipment for our Eco-Clubs and camp activities. CYMOT being a sponsor of the Desert Dash (a cycling event) which CITW is a beneficiary of, they also have a four men’s team which participates in this event.
This time around, CYMOT invited Mars Simone Mayer and Jan Henning to take part in the Desert Dash 2014 when they were on their first visit to Namibia. Mayer and Henning entered the 2-man mixed category and came second “winning a cash price of N$ 5000.00, and decided to sponsor their prize money to Children in the Wilderness Namibia.
