Our CITW Zambezi team has been very busy getting organised for their Eco-Club supplies distribution for Term 2!
The time had finally come, where schools were open and likely to stay,
With plans in place, we couldn’t wait another day.
Oh the reunion of our Eco-Club family so close to our heart,
Packed and loaded with supplies we left with an early start.
On highways, across rivers, closer did we creep,
Through woodlands, and sand tracks too bumpy to sleep.
Arriving at the schools, our joy overwhelmed us,
All familiar faces seemed to surround us.
More supplies we cried, “Eco-Clubs can continue!”
Celebration erupted, “Oh how we missed you!”
Lessons on trees, water, soil, and creatures of all kinds,
To inspire the next generation of eco warriors’ minds.
This is the generation that will change the world for better,
How lucky we are to see them strive for the things that matter.
We couldn’t be more grateful for all those that make this possible,
Helping our children, our wildlife, and our mission to become unstoppable.
