Eliot Felix is a CITW Malawi YES Club member who has just achieved his dream of being employed by the country’s Ministry of Education.
Eliot joined CITW in 2009, where his desire to become a secondary school teacher was kindled.
In June this year, his YES Club members celebrated with Eliot for being employed by the Ministry of Education – Higher Learning as an English teacher at Thyolo Secondary School.
He comes from an economically challenged family on the eastern side of Liwonde National Park, and his uncle was a former poacher who was wounded in the course of his activities. Recognising his potential, CITW facilitated a scholarship of Eliot’s secondary and tertiary education in full through the Rosemary Pencil Foundation.
Congratulations Eliot! We are also proud to celebrate and share your happiness with all our supporters and partners in development.
