Sesfontein community and school eco-garden produce ready for sale

A few months ago after bountiful harvests, CITW Namibia supplied more vegetable seeds and additional fruit trees to partner schools and community gardens around Sesfontein.

We also decided to move the school gardens to a few selected community homes to ensure that the gardens are cared for during school and public holidays.  The results have been commendable, as you can see in the photo.

The Elias Amxab Combined School’s garden is under the care of Mr Usiel, who is the Sesfontein Conservancy Chairman, and he reported that the fruit trees are showing great potential, with no disturbance from village goats.
