Otto Jensen: CITW Camper to Qualified Wilderness Camp Manager

Regular followers of our updates might remember our post about Otto Jensen, an inspiring young Trainee Camp Manager whose love for the wilderness was affirmed when he attended a CITW annual camp at Jacana in 2004.

Today we are thrilled to share the news that he has graduated from his Lodge Management Training with flying colours!

Otto says, “I believe that one day, Wilderness Safaris will be known to have saved our ecosystem through our dedication to the 4Cs, and bring balance to the world that was once an Eden”.

Inspired by the beauty of the Kalahari, last year he wrote a poem of hope in the time of the coronavirus.

Finally, we couldn’t express our delight better than through the words of Vumbura Plains GM, Raz Wilson Dube: “Years of dedication, hard work, sleepless nights – and I’m sure many tears – have paid off… We wish you all the best in all you do and know you will definitely tackle any task with sheer grit and determination. Bravo young man, bravo!”
