More Moments of the Joy at the Nedbank Tour de Tuli Riders’ Lentswe-le-Moriti Village Stopover

Here are some beautiful images, and a note of thanks to CITW Bobirwa’s Tanya McKenzie (also a multiple-repeat rider in the Nedbank Tour de Tuli), from Mr Monakwane, Headmaster of Lentswe-le-Moriti Primary School, after the cyclists handed over backpacks filled with supplies for the children.

Two riders from Group 9, Jeremy Powell and Pete Dowling, also donated 77 red t-shirts to the children, who thanked them enthusiastically…

May I reiterate, on behalf of the entire school community, our profound appreciation to yourselves for popping in school and putting smiles on our beloved learners. It was incredibly heart-warming to see our kids beaming with smiles and screaming with joy when the riders showed up.

As for the gifts, we are most sincerely thankful. They are quite relevant and adequate…a sure morale booster to the learners and teachers.

Our stakeholders joyfully witnessed yesterday when we distributed these gifts, marking a closure to an amazing event that will be engraved in the memories of our kids for a long time.

We were pleased to get a chance to chat with some of you and are looking forward to an even bigger and better event next year.

The gifts were quite many and would take a long time to list all of them here. These include 100 school bags with some stationary inside, 10 hand-made bags for teachers (with water bottles, 2 pairs of socks and a towel) and a long list of other relevant gifts for learners.

To Pete Dowling and Jeremy Powell…thank you for the 77 red T-shirts for learners. Wow!! They are excited.

We really had a great time, thanx a lot Aunty Tanya (yoh, the kids really love u 😍😍😍, they were so excited πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ).
