Jabulani Primary School Uniform Donation

Having visited Jabulani Primary School, located 20 km outside Victoria Falls, in 2019, Cristina Henriquez went home wanting to make a contribution to the students. She decided that, as many students had torn uniforms, she wanted to donate uniforms to the children who were in the greatest need.

We were able to organise this over the December holidays, and last week we distributed the uniforms to their very excited new owners. Students couldn’t wait to put them on and were bursting with pride, smiling and laughing with each other and posing for the camera.

Due to the cost of uniforms, many students are forced to wear their uniforms for years.  They quickly become faded and tattered. Thanks to Cristina, 46 students at Jabulani Primary now have brand new uniforms.

We are so grateful for her generosity and know that these uniforms will be treasured and much appreciated for a long time to come.
