Now based in Rwanda as Wilderness Safaris’ Operations Manager, and CITW Programme Co-ordinator for the region, Ingrid shares some happy memories of a CITW annual camp held at Kapinga Camp in Kafue’s Busanga Plains.
“The camp was supposed to take place at Shumba,” says Ing, “but due to last minute logistics we shifted it to Kapinga.
“It was a bit tight as Kapinga only had four tents, but since it was a Premier camp, we easily fitted all the children into the luxury rooms.
“The staff shared rooms in the staff village and in this way we made it all happen!”
