A gift that truly changed lives…
At St Mary’s Primary School, unpaid school fees had become a heavy weight on 44 Grade 7 learners and their families. Thanks to a generous donation of USD9,712 from the Grand Circle Foundation (GCF), CITW Zambezi was able to help clear these fee arrears and lift that weight right before exam season.

Outstanding fees had placed real strain on the school’s day to day running, from paying staff to keeping basic services going. By settling the arrears for these vulnerable learners, GCF’s support helped stabilise the school’s finances and let the School Development Committee focus on what matters most, giving children a good education.
For the learners themselves, the change has been immediate. Children who once carried the worry of unpaid fees can now walk into class with confidence, take part fully in school life, and prepare for their Grade 7 exams without that pressure hanging over them. Parents and guardians have felt the relief too, freeing up what little they have for food, healthcare and other essentials at home.
The School Development Committee, teachers, parents and learners of St Mary’s Primary School send their heartfelt thanks to GCF. On behalf of everyone at CITW Zambezi, thank you for investing in these children and giving them the chance to finish their primary school journey without interruption.
