We are thrilled to announce the launch of Children in the Wilderness (CITW) Kenya, a programme designed to inspire the next generation of conservationists. Through informative and engaging Eco-Clubs and immersive Eco-Camps, CITW provides conservation education to school children, fostering a deep and lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
The process of establishing CITW Kenya began by training Eco-Mentors recently. These Eco-Mentors are local community members, teachers, and camp staff who attended comprehensive training sessions held in the Masai Mara and at Loldia House in Laikipia County.
These sessions have equipped the new Eco-Mentors with the knowledge and skills to lead environmental projects and inspire young minds. We can’t wait to see the positive impact CITW will have on the youth and our environment in this iconic East African country!
