CITW Rwanda’s Bisate pioneers going strong

In April the third and final term of the Rwandan school year started. We are happy to report that all 140 students who are part of our CITW scholarship programme are doing very well and are producing great school results.

Before the start of the school year, Aline caught up with our most senior students who are currently in the fourth year of their secondary schooling. In total we have 32 students enrolled in their fourth year (called Senior 4 in Rwanda), and most of them are in boarding schools. The S4 students are studying a number of different subjects and are spread across 18 different schools in Rwanda.

These students were part of our very first group of CITW Eco-Club learners who enrolled when we started the Children in the Wilderness programme in Rwanda in 2018. So they are true CITW Rwanda pioneers!

It was great to see them before they travelled to their different schools across the country for the final chapter of this school year.
