Community members in Otapi village received a generous donation of blankets from Charlotte Stratos, a guest at Wilderness Serra Cafema. Charlotte, who is the founder of Echoes Africa, a UK-based agency, collaborated with Children in the Wilderness to bring warmth to the community of Otapi.
With the coming cold and windy winter weather conditions in the Hartmann’s Valley and surrounding areas, these blankets will be essential in providing warmth for both children and elders.
The village, located in the Kunene region, experiences significant temperature drops, especially at night, making blankets very important. This generous contribution will greatly enhance the health and comfort of the community members.
They were deeply touched, and overwhelmed with gratitude for Charlotte’s generosity and partnership with Children in the Wilderness.
