CITW Namibia Celebrates World Sun Day

World Sun Day is celebrated annually on the 3rd of May, and the theme this year is “Our Power, Our Planet”. This day highlights the importance of the sun and promotes the use of solar energy to create a sustainable future.

By embracing solar energy, we celebrate the power of the sun as a clean, renewable source of energy for our planet.

Students from our Eco-Club at Elias Amxab Combined School in the Sesfontein Conservancy enjoyed a lesson focusing on the importance and benefits of the sun. They also prepared and delivered a presentation on the topic.

Through this lesson, the learners gained valuable knowledge that they will incorporate into their daily lives.
