Courtney Pritchard

CITW Zambezi and Community Administration

Zimbabwe-born Courtney grew up in Victoria Falls, surrounded by nature.  During her young years, she began to care passionately about the environment and the humanitarian needs of the people in the area.

This passion led her to study for a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Resource Management in Perth, Australia.  Before studying, she volunteered for six months with Children in the Wilderness (CITW), and was introduced to their community-focused work in an environment she was already passionate about.

During her university years, Courtney was the Community Service and Environmental Sustainability Resident Advisor.  In 2020, she was one of just a few young people worldwide to be selected as a United Nations Peace Ambassador, and she attended the United Nations Peace Summit for Emerging Young Leaders.  She created, collaborated and assisted other delegates throughout 2020 with sustainable and viable peace projects worldwide.

Her desire to meaningfully improve the lives of the people in the environment she grew up in meant a natural progression back to CITW after completing her degree.

Courtney is committed to ensuring sustainable growth in communities, to allow the residents to live their best lives.
