The Children in the Wilderness Botswana team travelled to Okavango Community Trust Villages (Seronga, Gunotsoga, Beetsha and Gudigwa) on the 9th November 2017 to host Soccer in the Wilderness which ended on the 11th November 2017.
Gordon Gilbert from South Africa, a professional soccer player and CITW ambassador, joined the CITW Team in the villages to raise environmental awareness through sport. Naledi Kgoba (SAWC/CITW Ex-Camper) and Yompy Diye Kennetseng (Guide at Wilderness Safaris Mombo Camp) also joined CITW to help, in the hopes of having an impact on the future custodians of our natural resources.
