Tshwaragano Primary School is home to Fern Brasem’s Children in the Wilderness urban Eco-Club in Gaborone.
“They appealed to me with a wish list of items to help them welcome the rest of the children back to school (there are over 1 000 precious souls in this school)”, says Fern. “I called a local company – Vodaclean – to get a quote for spray bottles so each class could have their own, and they instantly came up with a fantastic donation I didn’t even ask for!”
“On Tuesday 23 June I had the privilege of being at the school to facilitate and handover of a hands-free sanitiser dispensing unit, two x 25 litres of hand sanitiser, two x 25 litres of disinfectant and four thermometers – all from Vodaclean! Additionally, Children in the Wilderness assisted with 35 spray bottles and five more thermometers, so the school now has one thermometer per 100 children! The teachers were so grateful, saying their days are going to be so much easier”.
“Next task is to try and assist them with a bigger bed for the sickbay!”

SUPPORT OUR CONSERVATION HEROES
~ Wilderness Safaris COVID Relief ~
The impact of COVID-19 in Africa has been profound – particularly on wildlife conservation and rural communities dependent on tourism. Please join us to support our Conservation Heroes. Together we are stronger, and together, we can continue to change lives. It only costs USD50 to feed a family for a month. Or USD5 000 to cover the monthly operations of an anti-poaching team. Every single contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a significant difference.
