Bisate Primary School has embraced the Children in the Wilderness (CITW) Eco-Club lessons with great enthusiasm. Earlier last week, the team of Bisate CITW staff members met with the Eco-Club teachers at the school to discuss the lesson plan for their first Eco-Club.
The teachers and the Bisate Team decided that the first lessons should be about respect. Respect for yourself, your school, your home and of course for your planet!
On Friday afternoon, the 30 children attending the Eco-Club had different discussions about respect. What is respect? How do you show respect? In groups they showed various role-plays of examples of respect and disrespect. Next Friday the other 30 children enrolled in the Eco-Club will enjoy the same lesson.
