Renovations to Makuleke Primary School with Different.org

Different.org  and Children in the Wilderness joined together to refurbish and repair a classroom in Makuleke Primary School. CITW has been involved in the Makuleke community for many years now, running Eco-Clubs and YES Clubs, and spending many happy hours on CITW camps with the children.

We were approached by the school Principal who informed us that there was a classroom ceiling in dire need of repairs, as well as the general need for fumigation around the school. Thanks to Different.org’s funding, not only was the ceiling repaired and twelve classrooms fumigated, but the materials from the damaged ceiling were used to fix and maintain portions of the administrative block of the school.

Thank you to our Regional Programme Coordinator Bongani Baloyi for overseeing the renovations.
