Nick Galpine, our Nedbank Tour de Tuli Social Media Guru, rode this year’s Tour, and wrote this lovely little overview of his experience.

“It’s hard to believe, as the dust settles, and the elephants of the Tuli Block rub their surprised eyes (well they would if they could), that the Nedbank Tour de Tuli is over for another year. Four days of pristine wilderness and less-than-pristine cycling kit, mile after mile of flowing singletrack, camaraderie and cadence. The occasional acacia scratch will soon heal, and the wind will whisk away the cycle tracks in the sand. But the memories will remain, as riders and volunteers enjoy the sense of achievement (kilometres ridden and funds raised) and begin to anticipate next year’s edition of the ultimate mountain bike event. It’s been said before, but it bears repeating: this year’s Nedbank Tour de Tuli really was the best one ever”.

Here are just a few snapshots of the cyclists visiting Lenstwe-Le-Moriti, one of the schools with which we work in the Bobirwa District of Botswana in the Tuli area.
