Mashatu Memories – Changing Lives One Annual CITW Camp at a Time

Photographer and annual camp Eco-Mentor volunteer Angelica Mills shares some standout moments from the Bobirwa Cluster’s 2018 annual camp…

“See the world through the eyes of your inner child. The eyes that sparkle in awe and amazement as they see love, magic and mystery in the most ordinary things”. – Henna Sohali

Little Gaone – A shy girl with the brightest smile. She wrote on her checklist: “Aunty Angie is my best friend and I love her”.

Joseph – A future wilderness leader and one of the sweetest little boys I’ve ever met. His curious nature and love for the natural world will take him far. I look forward to seeing where he will be in a few years’ time.
Photography lesson smiles in gorgeous afternoon light. This was my fourth Children in the Wilderness Camp in 2018. At this point in time, I’ve taught 64 children photography.
