Making a Difference with Each Vacation – PfaP Travellers Make a Big Impact

Pack for a Purpose (PfaP) encourages travellers to make a difference by bringing essential supplies for the communities they are visiting. These meaningful contributions go a very long way in helping rural communities worldwide, including many in Namibia.

Wilderness’ PfaP guests jump on board right away, extending their generosity and assisting Children in the Wilderness partner school learners to make huge strides. From storybooks to, crayons, markers, pencils, notebooks, and other teaching and learning materials, our guests go above and beyond to provide these much-needed supplies that promote literacy, aid capacity development, and contribute to the development of a holistic learning experience for children and educators throughout the country.

Elias Amxab Combined School is a recent recipient of PfaP supplies; the school is located in the remote Kunene region of Namibia and serves 810 children from ages 6 through 25, providing education for Grades 0 to 11.

The CITW Namibia programme operates in the most inaccessible areas of the country and together with PfaP we will continue to use the power of tourism to transform the lives of those who need it most.
