I grew up in Johannesburg, and completed my Honours in Geography at The University of the Witwatersrand. I have always had a passion for both education and the environment, and so focused my honours research project on Environmental Education. While working at a digital advertising agency, I completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Thereafter, I taught Grade Four for three years, where I coordinated and prepared the curriculum for a number of subjects across the grade.

I am passionate about the environment, and enjoy birding and frogging. I am thrilled to be part of the Children in the Wilderness team, where my teaching skills and love for the environment are merged into an exciting, creative role as an Environmental Education Resource Developer.
