FAMILY HISTORY: Ian is the younger of two children. His parents passed away 7 years ago. He lives with his widowed aunt who has a small business of selling tomatoes which helps her put food on the table for the family. The income is however insufficient to cover Ian’s educational needs. The whole family lives in a small three roomed house without electricity. This affects Ian’s studying. Furthermore he has to walk a long distance to and from school because of lack of transport money. This has caused a lot of stress on Ian’s part and has affected his academic life tremendously. Ian is a very intelligent boy and has potential to reach greater heights and achieve a lot in life with educational support. He is a former CITW camper and a good team player a good role model to other children.
