Janet Kaombe is 22 years old and joined Children in the Wilderness (CITW) in 2008. She is an active member of the CITW YES Club in her community.
Here what she had to say about how CITW has impacted her life:
“My eyes have been trained to see the value of wildlife and the natural environment. I quickly appreciate the role and the value of wildlife in their ecosystems and their values to the people near them. This knowledge will live with me forever. I thank CITW.
I have been supported by CITW to get my education empowerment through the scholarship programme. I am currently doing a professional course at Machinga Teachers’ Training College. For sure feel being empowered”.
