With the aim of strengthening the Eco-Club programme, South African Children in the Wilderness (CITW) Programme Coordinator Bokang Shopane, along with Bongani Baloyi (CITW Regional Programme Coordinator), conducted Eco-Mentor training at Kwamqobela and Vululwazi Primary Schools, at Rocktail in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province. The training took place from Tuesday 8th to Thursday 10th May 2018. A total of 10 teachers and 2 members of the school governing body were trained on running Eco-Club sessions, given an overview to better understanding the CITW mission and vision, and most importantly, were taught the CITW flow for learning methods and techniques.
We look forward to seeing the progress of our children and Eco-Clubs in these schools as they continue with our Eco-Club programme 🙂
