I am Kelebogile “Kelly” Baitshoki, a hardworking, self-motivated and talented lady of 30 years, residing from Moshupa Village. I have completed my Degrees in Tourism Management in 2013 and in August 2014 I joined Okavango Wilderness Safaris through the National Internship Programme as an intern.
It was during my thesis that I started to understand a lot about nature. The first experience I had while doing the field work was interesting as it was where I understood the benefits of taking care of our natural resources both to human beings and the environment. I have been with Okavango wilderness Safaris now for 2 years, and in these 2 years, I was working in different departments as part of my internship programme. I have worked at Wilderness Training Office for ten months, doing the administration of the office, and ten months I was doing management training in different Wilderness camps, two months I was in the Human Resource Department still doing my training. I also had a privilege to assist our guests in camps as a bush buddy for 2 months.
I am eager to learn and passionate to work within a conservation organisation like Children in the Wilderness (CITW).
