CITW Community Sustainability & Evaluation Trainer - Zambezi

SARAH ADAMS

Sarah was born in Johannesburg, South Africa before moving to New Zealand at age 12 to complete high school and get her Bachelor’s degree in Town Planning and Master’s Degree in Environmental Management. Having conducted her fieldwork for her final thesis in the CITW Zambezi region, she gained insight into the CITW programme and longed to be a part of it. Her dream came true and now the CITW team leans on her organisational, and analytical skills to fine-tune the programme’s impact measuring through more comprehensive monitoring and evaluation methods.

Sarah is enthusiastic in seeing the programme reach its goals and is guided by her belief that CITW is a crucial mechanism for environmental education of the two countries in the Zambezi region and that it has the power to initiate positive environmental behaviour change for those both directly and indirectly involved with it.
