Exxaro MTB Academy riders to take part in Nedbank Tour de Tuli 2015, South Africa, August 2015

Tour de Wilderness, the organiser of the acclaimed Nedbank Tour de Tuli (CITW's biggest fundraiser) mountain bike event, is delighted to announce that four development riders from Exxaro MTB Academy will join the 350 riders cycling 300km across Botswana, Zimbabwe and SA between 13th and 18th August 2015.

Children in the Wilderness is very grateful to have CYMOT Namibia as a sponsor. On an annual basis, Children in the Wilderness receives items worth N$ 3000.00 from CYMOT and this year we were fortunate to receive an additional cash donation of N$5000.

CITW South Africa Trails camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa, August 2015

Once again we hosted two successful single-sex CITW camps on Pafuri Trails again. Eight girls and two female elders,eight boys and two male elders participated. The Makuleke Tribal Authority selected the elders.

CITW SA hosted the first ever overnight adventure camp at Gugulesizwe Cultural Centre, South Africa, June 2015

30 Vululwazi Primary School children from the nearby Kwampukane village enjoyed their first ever outdoor camping experience. They were joined by other novice campers - 5 Beach Camp staff and management members who are all CITW Eco-Mentors.
