Kwedi Sables win soccer tournament and donate prize to Children in the Wilderness, Botswana, April 2015

he soccer team from Wilderness Safari’s camps Vumbura Plains and Little Vumbura, called the Kwedi Sables, left on the 27th Feb for a three day tournament in Seronga Village. Every year it’s held at a different one of the Okavango Community Trust villages, who are our landlords for Vumbura Plains and Little Vumbura camps.

Second e-Readers (Kindles) Project launched, Malawi, April 2015

The Rosemary Pencil Foundation in conjunction with CITW donated 50 e-readers to Bandawe Girls Secondary in Nkhatabay-Bay District (Northern Region of Malawi). This second project was the result of the success of the first project at Namalomba Secondary School in Balaka District – Southern Malawi.

CITW Children’s Camp held at Camp Hwange, Sinamatella, Zimbabwe, March 2015

Camp Hwange is situated in the Shumba area of Hwange National Park and is run by David Carson, a well-known Zimbabwe Professional Guide. Children In The Wilderness have worked with the owners to successfully host a CITW Eco-Club Camp for children from rural schools in the area each year for the past three years.
