Mike White – Board Member – South Africa

Mike White is the Chief Audit Executive at a large South African bank overseeing the Internal Audit function for the Group. Prior to banking, Mike’s career included being an entrepreneur and consultant in sustainability and environmental solutions as well as serving as a Partner and business unit leader at a Big4 professional services firm. 

He has 20 years’ experience in the application of information technology and analysis of IT risks, as well as the application of Governance and Assurance. Mike is passionate about conservation and education – two aspects which he is able to combine in his role in serving and supporting Children in the Wilderness. 

Mike has supported the CITW fund raising efforts through involvement in Tour de Tuli over the years on many roles including route planning, motorbike support and leading cyclist groups. 

Mike is an avid mountain biker and amateur photographer.
