Liza joined Children in the Wilderness as an administrative bookkeeper in 2015. Born and raised in Benoni, South Africa she spent 18 years in the floristry industry before making the move to charity work where she spent time working at Janai Children’s Home and Hospice East Rand. She has always had a passion for children, having spent much time in her youth working at Happy Acres Field Centre and doing annual Scripture Union holiday camps. She is excited to be a part of our team and strongly believes in the principles of increasing children’s self-esteem, teaching new skills and imparting knowledge and appreciation of the natural environment.
