We are running an exclusive online auction for our most-valued supporters and are thrilled to offer you this opportunity to make your bid for one or more of several extraordinary African adventures.

This year, in the absence of Children in the Wilderness’ flagship annual fundraising event, the Nedbank Tour de Tuli, we are seeking alternative revenue streams so that our life-saving community relief programme during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, not to mention ongoing engagement with the children within these communities, is not more adversely affected.

Heroically, in the face of this year’s drastic funding shortfall, some of the best establishments in Africa have partnered with us to raise funds, all of which will be channelled to CITW to run the programme.

Auction Items

From a seven-night Zim-Zam luxury safari to four nights in the Okavango Delta, five nights in Kruger and Sabi Sands, four nights in the Western Cape, four nights in iSimangaliso and Mozambique, and four nights in the KZN Battlefields, these amazing journeys amount to some US$50 000 in value. There are also shorter Western Cape adventures up for grabs.

All funds raised from this auction will be channelled directly to Children in the Wilderness, whose primary fundraiser, the Nedbank Tour de Tuli, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year.

Seeing as the Tour cyclists weren’t able to #ridewithpurpose this year, this is your chance to #bidwithpurpose – who knows, it may be the winning bid and you will get to visit beautiful wild places at what could be a fraction of the price you would normally pay!
