HOW CAN YOU HELP

Children in the Wilderness will need the commitment and funding from Partner organisations and individuals, to ensure it's sustainability. With the support from the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps, Wilderness Safaris as well as participation by the community and government, such a programme is a sound investment for anyone seeking to reap inspirational rewards for their money.

Children in the Wilderness Southern Africa is made up of independent companies each with their own Board of Trustees. Each company operates independently but under the direction of Children in the Wilderness Southern Africa

OTHER OPTIONS

Sponsor a child to attend the Children in the Wilderness Programme
By donating US$250 (or equivalent) your donation will sponsor a disadvantaged child on a six day life skills and environmental programme

Sponsor a group of children in the Children in the Wilderness Programme

By donating US$4000 (or equivalent) your donation will sponsor a 16 disadvantaged child on a five day life skills and environmental programme. In this instance, the camp can be branded for your organization and specific feedback will be sent to the donors

Sponsor a local school

Many of the local schools from which the children are selected are extremely poor with very little infrastructure or facilities. There are numerous opportunities available for sponsorship ranging from supplies to classrooms.  If you would be interested in sponsoring a school please contact us for specific information

Sponsor a child for a school scholarship

\Many of the children that attend the programme come from child headed families etc and in many instances battle to afford the nominal school fees, uniforms and books. Some of the Children in the Wilderness programmes offer a scholarship option whereby sponsors can elect to sponsor a child through five years of their senior school. Whilst this cost of this is not huge by world standards, the impact it has on those children is enormous. If you are interested in sponsoring a child through school, please contact us for specific information
